Pastor Timothy Dillon is originally from Brunswick, Ohio. While a resident of Brunswick,  Tim attended and graduated from Brunswick High School. As a student in Brunswick High School, he pursued his passion for running and participated in and excelled at track.

 

This passion for running earned Tim a full scholarship in track to attend Cleveland State University. To take advantage of his scholarship Pastor Tim pursued a degree in social work and law enforcement.

Pastor Tim accepted a position on the Medina County Sheriff’s Department in the fall of 1980 as a corrections officer. He was offered a position with the Medina City Police Department and completed his training with the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy. Tim served as a patrolman and then later was promoted to serve as one of the city’s three detectives. He served with the Medina City Police Department for eight years, until the Lord called him to leave law enforcement to enter the ministry.

Tim has completed the Pastoral Greek program at Appalachian Bible College in 1993, graduating with academic honors. He accepted the pastorate of the Sylvester Baptist Church in Sylvester, WV. He served the Lord faithfully there until 1996. In November of 1996 Pastor Dillon was called to pastor the Greenbrier Baptist Church in Ronceverte, WV. In June of 2015 Pastor Dillon was called to pastor Daniels Missionary Baptist. Pastor Tim is a consummate student of the Word of God. He has earned his Master of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary as well as his Doctor of Theology. In addition to his passion for studying the Word of God, Pastor Tim is a Civil War historian.

 

Pastor Tim and his wife, Cynthia have been married since 1981 and have 3 children. Jonathan, Bethany and Patrick who are all involved in Christian ministry.
